Here is a list of things that Tiffany has been tested for over the last two years. Muscular Dystrophy Multiple sclerosis Gillian Bare Syndrome (She was treated with steroids for this disease later to find out it was not this one) Polio West Nile Virus Lou Gehrig’s diseaseSpinal Muscular Atrophy and all its rare formsRare forms of MD and MS CMT (Charcot Mary Tooth) a hereditary nerve disorder CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Dimyleninating Poly Neuropathy) Lyme Disease (She was treated by a doctor in Connecticut for this disease only to find out it wasn't this one). Western block Test Myasthenia Gravis
Most Recently she has had some additional blood work done and it has been determined that she has some parasites and some possible black mold issues and that her white blood cells are not functioning properly. We have been told that she may be allergic to her cat so we have given her cat to her Great Grandmother.
Tiffany has had MRIs, CAT scans, X-rays, nerve conduction studies, numerous blood draws and tests, stool and urine samples, spinal taps and other tests done to try to determine what she has. We have been to alternative medicine doctors and have tried several different diets.
We have found a new drug thru the Osmond’s that helped Allen Osmond with MS which is not FDA approved yet and would not be covered by insurance.
The general consensus among doctors from Primary Children's Hospital and the University of Utah Hospital is that she has something affecting her peripheral nerves. This has brought her to the point where she can barley move her arms and legs. She cannot walk, feed herself or turn over in her bed at night.
